Sweet Sue / All of Me  -  with the fabulous Mike Daly on trumpet, John Hennery on double bass and Peter Salmond on tenor banjo recorded at an 80th birthday party at the NEL in East Kilbride.  The slide-show presentation is of the time-share complex at Melfort Village (16 miles south of Oban) on the west coast of Scotland where the band leader has been a member since 1988  -  and loves it!  Scotland's answer to paradise!!

 

 

Dinah -  with the incredible Mike Daly on trumpet, John Hennery on double bass and Peter Salmond on tenor banjo.  The video of the Craignish Standing Stones on the west coast of Scotland shows just some of the beauty of this part of the country.

 

 

Deed I Do / Bye Bye Blues / Autumn Leaves  -  played by Peter Salmond (tenor guitar) and Andrew Dougall (double bass)  -  both from Cardross, Scotland.  The slide show (Powerpoint) presentation is called  . . . .  Cardross - our wee village in bonnie Scotland  . . . . and illustrates the many features of this beautiful village situated just 20 miles from Glasgow on the north banks of the River Clyde.

Summit Jazzy Farewell Gig

With Mike Daly on trumpet, Tom Taylor on clarinet, Eoin Millar on double bass and the band leader Peter Salmond on the 4-string tenor banjo (and 4-string tenor guitar), the band, called Summit Jazzy are playing at a house party in bonnie Scotland just prior to Peter Salmond moving home to Kilmelford, near Oban. This gig could therefore be the last farewell appearance - unless, by popular demand, they can be offered further venues - hopefully!!!!
